I'm happy to say that I've been able to expand a little. Not only do I have many more items at my etsy shop, but I also now have a Zazzle and Big Cartel store which is great because you don't have to sign up to the sites to shop there. Here's the links: http://primevalpress.bigcartel.com/ http://www.zazzle.com/nikolking and as always my Etsy shop: http://www.etsy.com/shop/kingshandpress

I'm done and Wed and glad thats over, but I'm still super busy with work and have no interest in doing stuff when I get home, I have to fight it!  This is probably the longest time I've gone without making anything, it's been like 6 weeks.  I need to get off my ass before I turn into someone who used to draw. Working in the print shop is good grown-up work but I still need to keep an edge and work on my own work and never turn into a 9-5er. I've applied to an apprenticeship at a local tattoo shop and they expressed interest and want to set something up "asap" to interview which excites me but I'm keeping it under control 'cause I have had p

So I got a new Job last month which is awesome. I'm SO glad my old boss let me out of my contract, teaching is awful. I only applied to two jobs: a secretary one which paid good, but isn't using my degree at all and a management position at an embroidery, silkscreen, and sign shop. I totally got the print shop job, I'm so happy! Its everything I've wanted in a job, so much good experience on so many different things. We don't do much silkscreening which is a bummer,  but I am learning alot of new skills. I'm especially interested in learning the graphics production and CAD cut as this is experience that can get me into a sign shop and makin

No problem, as a printmaker I love your process, very similiar to intaglio, but without the printing, I always loved how the plates looked inked up before printing and your work reminds me of that!
I'm new to this and "intaglio" is something I've not heard of before. What I've found online and in my various History of Photography & Print-Making books is really exciting. I've been considering making limited runs of prints, and this would be a great way to do it. I'm already looking at book presses on eBay. :D
hey there, thanks for the fav!
